Figures (1906-1971)
The journey through Picasso's creative process through the six sections of the exhibition leads you to discover the why of mass production and always return to the same subject, to play it over the years in order to tell what was for him the obsessive repetition, in their creations , the human figure and portraits.
Including photos and period films that accompany the visitor to discover the artist lived, the exhibition covers the period of its production which goes from 1907 until the '70s and tells the entourage intellectual and literary studies on movement and research during the first World war a new primitivism through the children's drawings, prehistoric sources and the desire to break free from the forms that will last until the 40s.

A work for each year of the life of Pablo Picasso in 'period running from 1906 until the late' 70: this new exposure, which has a corpus of more than 90 works including Seated Nude (from Les Demoiselles d 'Avignon, 1907), the Kiss (small and poignant canvas, 1931) and La Femme qui pleure and Portrait de Marie-Thérèse both of 1937, just to mention some of the masterpieces among many on loan from the Musée national Picasso - Paris that preserves the most part.
