In the kitchen with Marina: hands on, in the dough to discover, cook and savor the dishes of our tradition.
A short journey through the countryside and nearby hills will take you to the home of Marina, our cooking instructor, who opens the doors of her house to cook traditional Italian dishes with you.
Marina's home and kitchen: this massive kitchen with wooden cabinets, large stove and hood, the wood burning stove and the central table, which is the heart of the house and the kitchen itself. You will be immersed in the scent of eggs and flour, of homemade pasta, of meat sauce, of the genuine flavors proper to the land that hosts you.
Once you arrive and don your aprons, you will be in the hands of Marina who will guide you through the dishes and ingredients you are going to cook together. Each dish and each product holds a story, which your instructor will convey to you with passion, in an initiation into the secrets and nuances that make our dishes unique.
You will prepare dishes together, make homemade pasta, try recipes from both Italy and our lake, and cook at the stove together.
Then, when everything is ready, the table on which you have been working until a moment before, will be cleared and set for the lunch that you will all enjoy together, between stimulating conversation and a good glass of wine.
You will enjoy a real Italian and local lunch, entirely cooked by you, in which you will understand that the real magic is the conviviality and the stories exchanged around a table, the atmosphere of joy created and a bit of celebration, which you breathe every time a dish is put on the table and you start eating.
What the package in the kitchen with Marina includes:
3 hours Cooking class with our instructor Marina, who speaks a very good English
Where: at Marina's home in the hills and countryside of Lake Garda ( you have to reach it with your own car or by taxi)
Duration: from morning and ends with lunch, that you will all enjoy together at Marina's house.
For an extra special treat: for those who want and book the experience on Tuesday you can join Marina going through the Desenzano Market to choose the products that will be used to prepare that days lunch.
